A proposal to continuously fund and execute public art projects across Austin through crowd-sourced contributions enabled via a smart-contracts.

ATX DAO has several core objectives, including:
1️⃣ Delivering real world impact through a DAO as an organizational vehicle,
2️⃣ Growing crypto / web3 understanding in Austin, and
3️⃣ Engaging and supporting the local arts community
To advance these, we propose an initial, tightly scoped project to achieve all 3.
ATX DAO will commission 1 mural via Efren Rebugio of Everyday Research, an Austin-based artist, at an estimated cost of $10K.

Mural space will be donated by Native Hostel, with Wall A + C currently allocated at no cost for this project. Wall D also available at no cost.

The mural will contain a QR code, linking to an ATX DAO landing page.
This page will explain the project, and allow people to contribute crypto to a wallet controlled by Miles Starkey, Executive Director of the HOPE Campaign, a 501(3c) that: connects creatives with causes through projects and events.
Crypto contributions will flow through an ATX DAO smart-contract to the HOPE Campaign, similar to the framework used in our Ukraine Project. As funds flow, ...
